Our annual Kigali offsite serves
as a crucial platform for
firmwide alignment, portfolio
review, intensive learning, and
building team cohesion.

Key sessions this year included:

A team-building workshop,
facilitated by an external consulting
firm, to improve communication and
trust among the team, particularly
given the challenges of working pan-
African.
Regional and sector deep dives with
directors from Tunisia, Egypt,
Morocco & East Africa, and South
Africa presenting detailed updates
on market trends, investment
opportunities, and challenges within
their respective regions.

An ESG and impact workshop to
remind and reinforce core ESG
integration processes throughout
the investment lifecycle. Following
this, analysts engaged in a
challenging exercise where they
researched impact focused
investment opportunities based on
UNDP research and presented their
findings to the wider team.
